Greet the morning early today, savour breakfast, checkout of the hotel, and get ready for a happening day ahead. This day will take you to the amazing Rohtang Pass. This is a difficult drive with frequent hairpin bends, perched at 3,798 m.Weather conditions are also uncertain. So, it’s time to bring out the daredevil in you. Drive through Lahaul, the home of monasteries and monks.

Now, proceed to Tandi—a small village above the union of Bhaga and Chandra Rivers. Next, you will be moving to Keylong. Get your motorcycle serviced here, if required. Meandering through the snowy peaks, you will reach Jispa. From here You will find smooth roads from this point. Check-in to the hotel and refuel yourself with a filling dinner. Thereafter, slip into your cosy beds and sleep.

Note: At Tandi, fill your motorcycle fuel tanks and get your motorcycle issues fixed at Keylong, as after this, you won’t find any mechanics. Your cell phone's network connection will be lost from here on out, so be prepared.

Your arrival in Manali from Delhi by bus is marked by a transfer to the hotel. Complete check-in formalities and unwind. Have lunch at the hotel (not mentioned in the inclusions) and get ready for your much-awaited motorcycle trip. Get your wheels rolling on the snaking roads of the Kullu Valley. The joy ride is coupled with the scenery of the mighty Himalayas on one side and the untamed River Beas on the other. But be watchful of the tricky roads.

After an exciting day, you can return to the hotel. Savor the delectable dinner and sleep peacefully.

The distance from Jispa to Sarchu is 77.3 km.

Travel time: 2 hours and 27 minutes (approximately).

Arise to a nutritious morning meal and check-out of the hotel. As you set out to discover Ladakh by bike tour, drive to Sarchu, the village that divides Himachal and Ladakh. When you leave Jispa behind, you have to beat the first challenge of the route: Bara-Lacha La (4890 m). With the increasing altitude, you will experience acute mountain sickness (AMS) effects. But stay strong as you have to conquer more, especially at the Bara-Lacha La peak. Now, you have to drive downhill and be cautious as it is going to be rough till Bharatpur. From there, as you proceed to Sarchu, road conditions get better.

Once you reach Sarchu camp, relax and get over the strenuous drive. Later, have a reviving dinner and sleep restfully at the camp.

Consume lots of fluids while driving to stay dehydrated.

Sarchu to Leh distance: 259 km

Travel time: 7 hours and 30 minutes (approximately).

Wake up and have a toothsome morning meal. Checkout and gear up for a challenging drive to the Gata Loops ascent. A series of 21 hairpin bends takes you to Nakee La (4769 m), the 3rd high mountain pass on the Leh-Manali route. After a descent from Nakee La, you will drive up Lachulung La (5059 m), which is the route’s 4th high mountain pass and easiest as well. From here, you will reach Pang, a temporary tent settlement. Now the road becomes excellent and, as a bonus, you get a visual treat of Moore Plains. Be careful here as your vehicle’s suspension can be tested, and don’t accelerate at all.

Now, you have to go up Taglang La (5328 m) – the route’s fifth and last high mountain pass. The road is really in challenging condition. AMS might hit you here as well. However, AMS will retreat from here as soon as the roads get better. Halt en route and visit Thiksey and Shey monasteries. Snaking through the challenging roads and soaking in the serenity around you, you will reach Changspa. Now, check-in to the hotel and make the most of the leisurely evening, just the way you want.

Later, have a hearty dinner at the hotel, followed by a sound sleep.

The distance between Leh and Nubra is 116 kilometers.

Travel time: 4 hours (approx.)

Break your "fast" and check out of the hotel.On this day of your Discover Ladakh by Bike 2021 tour, you will be heading to Nubra Valley via Khardung La. Your next halt will be North Pullu. Relax and regain your strength here while munching on some snacks. And then, resume your journey. En route, seek blessings at Diskit Monastery and proceed. When you arrive, check into the camp and rest your tired body.Thereafter, enjoy riding a double-hump camel.

Afterwards, return to the camp and dig into a delectable dinner. Hop on to your bed for a relaxing sleep.

The distance from Nubra to Pangong is 221 km.

Travel time: 14 hours (approx.)

Wake up to a filling breakfast and checkout from the camps. Ride your toys to reach Pangong Lake via Shyok. Pangong Lake has its own two-third area in China. This blue lake presents a striking contrast to the arid mountains around it. En route, cross Chang La, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. When you reach Pangong, check-in to the camp. Relax and soak in the lake’s ethereal beauty.

When the night falls, savour a sumptuous dinner and get a sound sleep.

The distance from Pangong to Leh is 216 km.

Travel time: 13 hours (approx.) Kickstart

your day with a wholesome breakfast and checkout from the hotel. From today onwards, your journey back home commences. The first destination to be reached in the process is Leh. On arrival, check-in to the camp and rest. Visit Shanti Stupa here, which is a spectacular white structure. Next is a shopping spree, allowing you to take home souvenirs from Leh. Also, take in the scenery of the Indus Valley and the Zanskar Range.

After a busy day, return to the camp for a rejuvenating dinner and sleep peacefully.
